It really is that simple.

Being vegan keeps my eating patterns rich in nutrition, gives me high fiber, no constipation and that equals a nice flat stomach.  And of course, the key to being at the beach is limited sun exposure and a nice natural sunblock.

I already love my body, but this season, I’m steppin’ it up a notch. Best abs on the beach will be mine this summer, thank you very much ladies! Time to cut the last two bumps of my six pack. But seriously, I haven’t been exercising nearly as much as usual lately and my body is still hot. I’m ashamed, because exercise is great for the heart and circulation, yet proud to admit this since I have still maintained a great physique, which I attribute to being a vegan. I have probably worked out once a week for the past two months and I’m still the same weight…which is not unusual (I’ve been the same weight since graduating high school).

I went rollerblading this morning for a half hour and that felt good to soak up some sunshine in the brisk, chilly morning air. As a nutritionist, I can definitely agree that what you choose to eat is by far over half the battle. While I might not be the most hardcore exercise junkie lately, maxin’ out my moves only twice a week over the past year, my body still looks the same. Well, this spring, I’m crawling out from underneath the Rock of Busy-ness and toning up all over. Time for spring; time for renewal; time for recommitment to regular exercise and an even healthier version of me!
